Danielle Kerper Danielle Kerper was born and raised in the heart of California. Her main focus is character design and concept design illustration. Kerper proudly graduated in the Spring of 2021 with a BFA in Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art (RMCAD) and Design and a Certificate in Graphic Design from Fresno City College. In her accomplishments, she was recognized and placed on the Dean’s and President’s list during the height of a pandemic while working in an essential business. Being a nerd at heart, she has appeared in numerous shows like Long Beach Comic Con, Bakersfield Comic Con, and gallery events at Fresno City Hall, Pacific Southwest Building, LF Gallery, and Broadway Studios. Growing up with an environment devoted to creativity, imagination and Disney fandom, Kerper knew from the beginning that she wasn't any ordinary kid. She loved dressing up in costumes, creating funny characters with her uncle and building Lego houses with her siblings. With music, 90s comedy cartoons and Disney fandom around the house, creating grungy, sarcastic stories and carrying an open mind full of imagination in silly characters and rock n’ roll edge build a style for her. Recognizing the trait of my artistic grandfather, her mother saw a great deal of dedication in Danielle when it came to sketching and story-telling. Kerper is obsessed with guitars, running, photography, dogs, turtles, pandas, old horror films, and cake decorating. She loves to work with ink and pen, acrylic, and digital programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and Procreate. Her inspiration grows from vintage ads, black and white films, vintage and retro cartoons, Twilight Zone, Ancient European architecture, alternative rock music, and idolizing artists like Walt Disney, Tim Burton, and Charles Addams. She continues to strive in her focus for Dwarfism Awareness, Suicide Prevention and Anti-Bullying. Her hope is to bring more awareness in her art and life.
